Marc Zacharias, President and CEO

Marc has been with Calmetrix since December 2009, overseeing Calmetrix's Marketing and Sales efforts. He has over 10 years of marketing and general management experience in the cement and concrete industry. Before Calmetrix, he was a Business Director at Grace Construction Products, a company specialized in concrete performance additives. Prior to Grace, Marc was a Director of Marketing at Lafarge, one of the world's largest producer of cement, concrete and aggregates. Marc has an MBA from Harvard Business School (USA) and Masters degrees in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris (France) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain).

Sergey Liberman, Vice President of Development

Sergey has been with Calmetrix since December 2009 and is responsible for software development and the company's integrated equipment-software design. He has over 15 years of experience in the development and integration of software for laboratory instruments, as well as automation and process control. He has developed over 300 systems for more than 50 companies such as Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Corning and Texas Instruments. His expertise in systems and applications spans multiple fields including defense, semiconductors, biotechnology, electro-optics and the construction industry. Sergey has also collaborated with Grace Construction Products for over 10 years to perfect the development of isothermal and semi-adiabatic calorimeters, as well as software, for the cement and concrete industry. He holds Master's Degrees in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from St. Petersburg's State Polytechnic University (Russia).

Stan Elektrov, Vice President of Engineering

A Calmetrix team member since February 2010, Stan carries 25 years of experience in the design of electronic and electro-mechanical devices. He directs the design and manufacturing of all Calmetrix equipment. During the course of his career, Stan was a Principal Engineer in design and development of multiple products in scientific, industrial, educational and consumer electronics fields, both within several start-up and well established Companies. Stan holds a double Master's degree in Physics and Electronics, as well as an Associate's degree in Chemistry, all from St. Petersburg State University (Russia).

Paul Sandberg, Vice President of Applications and Support

Paul joined Calmetrix in August 2010, both to link real world applications with Calmetrix products, and to oversee Calmetrix's Services and Support activities. Most recently, Paul was a Sr. Scientist at Grace Construction Products (cement and concrete additives). He brings over 20 years of experience in R&D related to cement and concrete materials to Calmetrix. Paul first got involved with calorimetry over 20 years ago and developed much of the science of calorimetry for cement while at Grace. He is the author of multiple patents in the field of cement chemistry, as well as dozens of papers related to calorimetry, and has been involved in a number of ASTM and technical committees both in the US and abroad. Prior to WR Grace, Paul worked at Cementa Environmental Technology (Scancem), where he was the Technical Team Leader for the cement used in the famed Oresund Bridge linking Denmark and Sweden over the open ocean. Paul has a PhD in Building Materials from the University of Lund (Sweden), and was also a guest researcher at the University of California, Berkeley (USA).
